Because getting stronger in midlife doesn't have to mean doing workouts you dread.
Maybe walking has become your go-to. Maybe the workouts you used to enjoy don't feel the same anymore. Or maybe you've simply gotten out of the habit of exercising and aren't quite sure where to start.
Midlife Kickboxing gives you a different way to move.
You'll punch. You'll kick. You'll learn combinations. You'll work on strength, stamina, coordination, mobility, and flexibility, all while following along with me from the comfort of your own home.
And no, you don't have to already be “in shape” to start.
We begin with the basics and build from there, giving you the opportunity to get better as you go. Because there's something powerful about learning a new skill, mastering a combination that felt awkward the first time, and realizing:
“Hey...I can still do hard things.”
Warm-ups, martial arts movements, bodyweight exercises, and stretching help you practice moving your body through different ranges of motion.
Challenge your muscles and build strength and stamina using just your own bodyweight.
Learn new techniques, improve your coordination, and experience yourself getting better at something that once felt challenging.
Punching and kicking can be one heck of a stress release, and sometimes it's just FUN to hit something...even when that “something” is the air.
You don't need another extreme fitness plan.
You need a reason to keep showing up.
Let's make getting stronger something you actually look forward to.
Midlife Kickboxing is built around full-length, follow-along video workouts that you can do right from home.
That means I don't demonstrate a few exercises, start a timer, and leave you to figure out the rest.
I'm doing the workout right there with you, from the warm-up to the final stretch.
You'll learn real martial arts-inspired punches, kicks, techniques, and combinations mixed with primarily bodyweight exercises to create a challenging, full-body workout.
And I don't throw everything at you on Day One.
You'll begin with Level 1, where we focus on the fundamentals and beginner-friendly workouts. As your technique, conditioning, and confidence improve, the workouts gradually progress with you.
Long enough to challenge yourself without making exercise your entire day.
I'm training right alongside you and coaching you through the workout.
No home gym or expensive equipment required.
Start with the basics, learn the techniques, and build from there.
No sparring. No getting punched in the face. 😂 Just you, me, and some imaginary opponents who probably had it coming.
All you need is enough room to move, an internet connection,
and a willingness to try something new.

Your schedule also includes additional movement and recovery days because getting stronger doesn't require pushing harder every single day.
You'll know when to train, when to move, and when to give your body time to recover.
You bring the willingness. I'll bring the structure.
Six weeks of structured training, coaching, accountability, and support designed to help you keep showing up, get stronger, and build confidence along the way.
Follow along with Coach Ehren through approximately 30-minute workouts combining kickboxing techniques, bodyweight exercises, mobility, and stretching.
You'll start with Level 1 and gradually progress as your strength, conditioning, and confidence improve.
This is more than a collection of workout videos.
You'll receive short daily messages from me with coaching, education, encouragement, and practical guidance around training, recovery, nutrition, consistency, and careing for your body in midlife.
You'll receive a straightforward nutrition plan and calorie target to support your training and help you make better food choices without complicated rules or restrictive dieting.
No customized macros or rigid meal plan, just practical nutrition guidance you can actually use.
Once a week, you'll complete a short check-in inside the Essential Fitness App so I can see how you're doing, what you're struggling with, and where you may need support.
I'll personally review your check-in and send you a private response with feedback for the week ahead.
You're doing the workouts at home, but you don't have to do this alone.
Use our private group to ask questions throughout the week, share your wins, get support, and connect with other women who are fighting for their strength right alongside you.
You'll have access to a live monthly Q&A with me, Coach Ehren, where we can talk about workouts, technique, modifications, recovery, nutrition basics, consistency, and your questions about the program.
It's another opportunity to get coaching from me without having to figure everything out on your own.
Martial Arts Discipline + Midlife Coaching = A Better Way to Get Strong.
Hi, I’m Coach Ehren, certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, women’s coaching specialist, and martial artist.
I’ve spent years helping women get stronger, improve their fitness, and build habits they can actually sustain. And as my coaching has evolved, my focus has become even clearer: helping women in midlife take care of their bodies in a way that supports the life they want to keep living.
That’s one of the reasons I love kickboxing!
My martial arts background taught me that strength isn’t just about muscle. It’s also about discipline, confidence, coordination, learning new skills, and discovering what your body is capable of doing.
And those things don’t stop mattering when you reach midlife.
In fact, I believe they matter even more.
Midlife Kickboxing brings those two parts of my coaching together.
You’ll get the discipline and challenge of martial arts-inspired training combined with my practical approach to coaching women 40+, without the pressure to perform, keep up with anyone else, or punish your body in the process.
We’ll work hard, have some fun, and I’ll teach you how to keep getting stronger, one workout at a time.
Because strength in midlife isn’t about proving what you used to be able to do. It’s about building what you want to be able to do next.
You don't have to be the fittest woman in the room, or even leave your living room, to get stronger.
Women who have completed these workouts have built strength, improved their consistency, gained energy and confidence, lost weight and inches, and discovered that challenging themselves can actually be something they enjoy.
Here's what some of them had to say about their experience:
“I loved being able to fit the workouts into my schedule.”
I love in-person workouts, but this online kickboxing was great because I could get it in at any time of the day. If I couldn't work out in the morning, I could do it later in the evening.
It was also great being able to learn in private because I didn't always get the technique or balance right, and it didn't matter if I didn't look good doing it! 😄
The reminders kept me going, and I was able to make sure I completed an activity every day.
I'd love to continue.
“I've lost 10–12 pounds, my clothes fit differently, and I have more energy.”
Having consistent workouts three times a week, with the flexibility to work them around my schedule, hiking, and social life has been crucial.
After completing 35 workouts, I've lost over 10–12 pounds and noticed all my pants are fitting differently. And because my routine isn't exhausting all my energy like it was before, I have much more energy for other activities.
I also noticed the movements becoming smoother and sharper as I progressed.
I love the program.
“Once I got started, I was hooked.”
My schedule was a concern because I wasn't sure how I would fit the workouts in. Sometimes I had to shuffle them around, but having the flexibility to move workouts where I needed them allowed me to be successful and not give up.
I stuck with it, and I haven't gotten bored!
I feel better, I've lost weight and inches, and the biggest thing I've gained is energy. I have energy to do things and actually look forward to being more active.
Take the chance on yourself. It is worth it.
Your first six weeks of Midlife Kickboxing take you through Level 1, but you don't have to stop there!
The complete Midlife Kickboxing training system includes four progressive levels designed to give you somewhere to go as your strength, technique, conditioning, and confidence improve.
Build Your Foundation
This is where you'll begin.
You'll learn the fundamental punches, kicks, combinations, and movements while building strength and conditioning through beginner-friendly, follow-along workouts.
Your first six weeks start here.
Build on What You've Learned
Once you've established your foundation, Level 2 turns things up a notch.
You'll continue practicing familiar techniques while taking on more challenging workouts and combinations designed to help you keep progressing.
Challenge Your Strength
This is the most advanced level of the program.
You'll put the skills and conditioning you've developed to work through more challenging workouts while continuing to improve your technique, stamina, and confidence.
Keep Showing Up
You've learned the techniques. You've worked through the progression. Now it's time to keep using them.
Level 4 combines workouts from Levels 1, 2, and 3 into ongoing programming so you can continue training, practicing, and challenging yourself without having to figure out what to do next.
At the end of your first six weeks, you'll have the opportunity to continue your Midlife Kickboxing training and progress through Levels 2, 3, and 4.
Build the foundation first. Then decide how far you want to take it.
Here are a few things you may be wondering before you get started.
Not at all.
Midlife Kickboxing begins with Level 1, where you'll learn the fundamental punches, kicks, movements, and combinations as you go. You don't need to know what you're doing before you start; that's what I'm here to teach you.
You don't need to “get in shape” before you start.
Level 1 is where we build your foundation. You'll start with the basics and work at your own pace as your strength, conditioning, technique, and confidence improve.
As with any exercise program, make sure you're medically cleared to exercise if you have health concerns or aren't sure whether this type of activity is appropriate for you.
No.
This is fitness kickboxing performed entirely on your own. There's no opponent, no sparring, and nobody is hitting you.
You'll practice martial arts techniques and combinations in the air while following along with me at home.
For the most part, no.
The workouts are primarily bodyweight-based, so you don't need a home gym, punching bag, or boxing equipment to participate. If a workout includes an optional piece of equipment, I'll let you know.
Just give yourself enough room to safely punch, kick, and move.
Most of the follow-along kickboxing workouts are approximately 30 minutes from beginning to end, including the warm-up and stretching.
You'll have three scheduled kickboxing workouts each week, along with additional movement and recovery days.
That's okay.
You're learning, and not every movement is going to feel natural on Day One. Use the modifications provided when appropriate, slow things down, take a break when you need one, and focus on learning good technique before worrying about keeping up.
Yes, but this isn't unlimited one-on-one coaching.
You'll complete a weekly personal check-in that I personally review, and I'll send you a private response with feedback for the week ahead.
Questions during the rest of the week can be asked inside our private Midlife Kickboxing community, and you'll also have access to the monthly live Coach Q&A.
Yes. You'll receive general nutrition guidance and a calorie target to help support your training and goals.
This does not include customized macros or individualized meal planning. Those require a higher level of individualized coaching.
No.
Midlife Kickboxing is a structured, lower-cost way to train with me through progressive at-home kickboxing workouts, general nutrition guidance, community support, and scheduled coaching access.
The Midlife Shift Coaching Method is my higher-touch 12-week coaching program with individualized training and nutrition support and a deeper focus on Strength Restoration, Guilt-Free Nutrition, Mental Restoration, and Spiritual Restoration.
They're two different levels of coaching designed for different needs.
Your first six weeks take you through Level 1.
If you're enjoying kickboxing and want to continue, you'll have the opportunity to progress into the ongoing Midlife Kickboxing program and work through Levels 2, 3, and 4.
Start with the foundation. We'll build from there.
You don't have to wait until you feel more fit, more confident, or more motivated to start.
You can start where you are.
